Five Ways Church Partners are Impacting Lives Around the World
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.” —Matthew 28:19-20
How does your church live out the Great Commission to “make disciples of all nations?” When people receive access to safe water, it often opens their hearts to hear the gospel. At Water Mission, we have witnessed countless people come to Christ because they experienced His love through the gift of safe water.
Many churches, such as Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara, California, partner with us to bring safe and Living Water to those in need. This also blesses church members who want to impact the world. “Christ often challenges us to not just think about our physical need, but rather to see the needs of others around us,” said Pastor Tommy Schneider from Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara. “He is modeling for us what it looks like to be a powerful light in the midst of darkness.”
Water Mission is richly blessed by its partnership with churches. With their help, lives are being transformed as we share God’s love through safe water. Here are five ways your church can save lives with safe and Living Water:
- Pray with Us: Sign up to receive weekly prayer requests
- Disaster Response: Activate your church to help survivors.
- Water Sunday: Choose one Sunday to highlight the global water crisis and how your church can make a difference.
- Walk for Water: Plan a Walk for Water to raise funds and awareness.
- Engage the Next Generation: Highlight Water Mission at your VBS or host a lemonade stand to fight the global water crisis.

Church partners are changing lives on earth and for eternity. To learn more about how your church can come alongside us, visit watermission.org/church. While we hope that our work leads people to ask why we do what we do, there are no faith requirements to access to safe water in the communities that we serve. We serve all people regardless of age, faith, race or gender.
