Global Water Crisis
2 billion people around the world lack access to safe water.

Water Gives Life—and Takes It
The global water crisis impacts every facet of life. Children miss school due to deadly, water-related illnesses. Parents struggle to provide for their families when so many hours are spent collecting water.
From water-related illnesses. Children under 5, like Doreen’s baby Wisdom, face the greatest risk.
Walking for water around the world. Stellia begins her first three-hour journey for water before the sun rises.
Every year because of the global water crisis. A lack of safe water keeps many girls like Benita from receiving an education.
Lack access to adequate sanitation. A latrine close to home provides dignity and safety to families like Grandma Maria Luciana and her grandchildren.
Of the hospital beds are filled with people suffering from water-related illnesses. Safe water means medical professionals like Nurse Carolina can serve patients well.
The Global Water Crisis is Enormous and Urgent, but There is Hope.
Our vision is that all people have safe water and an opportunity to experience God’s love.

The Need for a Relationship With Jesus Christ
- More than 5 Billion people do not know Jesus Christ.
- More than 2 Billion people have virtually no exposure to the gospel message.
- Local church leaders often have little biblical education and feel ill-equipped to share the gospel.
In the absence of a relationship with Jesus, people experience broken relationships with God, self, others, and creation. But there is hope.
When we build safe water solutions, communities witness Water Mission and their local church working together in the name of the Lord. This opens doors for us to share the gospel. By partnering with the local church, we bring safe and Living Water in the hopes that men, women, and children will experience the spiritual transformation that only comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
