Engage Your Church
Multiply Your Impact
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.—Proverbs 19:17
Follow Jesus’ example by working together to meet physical and spiritual needs worldwide. Here are some ways your church can maximize your impact to bring safe water to those in need:
Become a Church Partner
If your church is looking for a strategic partner in holistic ministry, we’d love to talk to you! Our Church Partnership Program marries your church’s unique calling with our diverse programs; allowing a very customized approach as we join together in driving life- saving interventions around the world.
Pray With Us
We are grateful to all who join us in steadfast prayer. We pray every day for God to bring hope and restoration to those suffering under the global water crisis.
Walk for Water
In many countries, women and children walk more than three miles to collect water for their families every day. Sadly, the water they collect is often contaminated and makes them sick. Walk for Water is a unique event where you can raise awareness and funds to help end the global water crisis by simulating the walk of our global neighbors.
Plan a Water Sunday
Water Sunday is one Sunday your church or small group sets aside to focus on the global water crisis through a variety of activities, studies, or sermons to bring the congregation into solidarity with people who lack safe water. We’re ready to come alongside you and help you get started!
Engage the Next Generation
Vacation Bible School Outreach Focus: Teach kids about the men, women, and children around the world who need safe water and encourage families to get involved in fighting the global water crisis.
Lemonade Stand for Living Water: Have some fun in the sun and raise funds for safe and Living Water. We’ll set you up with all the promotional posters and information you need – all you need to provide are some cute kids and lemonade!
Provide Disaster Response Support
Following a disaster, access to safe water is essential to prevent the spread of waterborne illnesses and provide other critically needed services like food, shelter, and medical attention. Communication resources are ready to help you activate your church to help.
Have Another Idea?
We’d love to hear about it! Help us brainstorm on other ways to involve your church or congregation.
