Since 2001, we have served 8 million people in more than 65 countries, sharing safe water and the message of God’s love. Water Mission’s global headquarters is in North Charleston, SC, and the organization serves people in Africa; Asia; and North, South, and Central America.
Charity Navigator awarded Water Mission its top rating for 19 consecutive years, a distinction shared by only 1% of charities rated by the organization.

Safe Water for Communities
Safe water saves lives and transforms communities. It builds health and hope, creating educational and economic opportunities that can help break the cycle of poverty. Water Mission gets safe water flowing by designing and installing cutting-edge technologies customized to each community’s unique needs.
Living Water
More than 5 Billion people do not know Jesus Christ, and most have virtually no exposure to His message. By partnering with the local church, we bring safe and Living Water in the hopes that men, women, and children will experience the spiritual transformation that only comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Disaster Response
Access to safe water is among the most critical needs following a disaster. It helps prevent the spread of illnesses and enables critically needed services like meals, shelter, and medical attention. Water Mission has an extensive background in responding to disasters, providing immediate and long-term safe water and sanitation solutions in complex contexts.
Safe Water for Refugees
There are currently more than 100 million people displaced due to violence, persecution, political instability, food insecurity, or natural disasters. Through our customized, best-in-class WASH solutions, Water Mission helps those in refugee camps experience healthier and more dignified living conditions.
