Water Mission, a Christian engineering nonprofit, has been recognized as a 2025 Certified Best Christian Workplace by Best Christian Workplaces, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping Christian-led organizations to build healthy workplace cultures. Water Mission’s U.S. operations were recognized for the fourth consecutive time, earning the certification every two years since 2019. Additionally, Water Mission’s country programs in Honduras, Mexico, Peru, and Uganda were recognized as 2025 Certified Best Christian Workplace.
This recognition is based on the results of Best Christian Workplaces’ Employee Engagement Survey, which measures organizational health through anonymous employee feedback. Certified organizations are those that achieve a score of 4.0 or higher on a 5-point scale, reflecting strong employee engagement and a healthy workplace culture.
In 2025, Best Christian Workplaces certified 310 organizations worldwide, representing churches, Christian schools, ministries, nonprofits, universities, and Christian-owned businesses globally.
“We are grateful for our team and honored by this recognition,” said Water Mission CEO and President George C. Greene, IV, PE. “This certification reflects our commitment to listening to our staff, strengthening our culture, and stewarding our mission with excellence.”
Organizations that earn certification demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by listening to employee feedback and taking intentional action to strengthen trust, communication, leadership, and organizational health. Healthy workplaces experience stronger collaboration, higher engagement, and greater mission impact.
Best Christian Workplaces President and CEO Jay Bransford shared, “These leaders have invested in the health of their workplaces by listening to their staff and taking concrete actions to strengthen their culture and overall employee engagement. Their faithful efforts over the long haul mean that their employees can have joy in their work and serve their stakeholders more fully to accomplish their mission.”
Water Mission is part of a growing community of Christian-led organizations committed to building healthy workplace cultures that honor God and serve people well. For more information about the Best Christian Workplaces certification, visit workplaces.org.
