Life After Disaster: Betsy’s Thank You

Betsy was overjoyed at the installation of the safe water solution.
“This morning I was so excited to see faces of people coming over to collect water. I wish you were here to see them so overwhelmed by the gift that you gave us. Truly, this means a lot to us!!!
When the typhoon struck, we slept in our tents for almost a month, surviving the cold nights with little food. Children and adults all together, neighbors, friends and families sharing one tent…most of us thought that it was the end of the world. Not only did it scare us, it ruined our homes, crops, and livelihood as well. We could no longer afford to buy even our most basic needs, particularly clean and safe water.
But God is so good that right after the calamity, help came pouring in in different forms...then you came. Water Missions International came and brought the most important/biggest gift we’ve received, ever! It was by then that, little by little, people came to understand that there is always this divine intervention.
With a population here of more than 5,000 who can partake in your gift, I'm sure this will change our lives, families, and even our communities. On of behalf of my people, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Water Missions International.
I do hope and pray for your volunteers, sponsors, donors, and all the people that support Water Mission International. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Water Missions International…God Bless Us All!!!”
