High Impact Volunteer Exceeds 3,000 Hours
One of Cathy’s primary roles at Water Mission is supporting our relationships with churches by maintaining database information for over 300 individual churches. In addition to supporting churches, Cathy enters all volunteer applications into our database, a time consuming but much needed job.
“I just want to help people. And it’s good for me to be at Water Mission because I get out and about.” -Cathy SadlerCathy is passionate about helping people, in fact, in 2014, Cathy broke her ankle and was homebound for nearly seven months. It was important to her to stay engaged, so Kevin Herr, Water Mission’s manager of Church Partnerships, set up software on her computer at home to enable her continued service. In her spare time, Cathy stays busy doing jigsaw puzzles, cross stitching, and latch hook projects. She is a square dance aficionado and an avid reader, which perhaps explains why her favorite scripture verse is John 1:1 – “In the beginning was the Word.”

At Water Mission, we know that every job ultimately helps provide safe water to those in need. Thank you, Cathy, for helping others through Water Mission.
