Hands 4 Others Brings Safe Water

Hands 4 Others (H4O) works toward one simple goal—to raise up a movement of young people that will be the generation that solves the world’s water crisis. To date they have helped grant clean water access to nearly 150,000 people. H4O hopes to continue their work until they’ve served 1 million people around the world. Water Missions International is proud to work with H4O as an implementing partner in the fight against the global water crisis. H4O has funded safe water projects in Latin America, East Africa, and Southeast Asia. Most recently, H4O supported Water Missions International’s disaster response efforts in the Philippines following Typhoon Haiyan.

This year H4O hopes to raise $100,000 to provide safe water for the island of Rote in Indonesia. As part of their fundraising efforts, they’ll be holding three different Walks For Water this month in Santa Barbara, Denver, and San Francisco. H4O’s Walk 4 Water Santa Barbara will take place on May 10th at Santa Barbara’s East Beach. Registration will start at 9am, and the Walk will begin at 10am. Also on May 10th is H4O’s Denver Walk 4 Water.

The San Francisco event, called the Hunt 4 Water, will take place on May 17th. Unlike the other two events, this walk has a scavenger hunt format.
