Our volunteers are the backbone of our team. As a nonprofit, we could not execute our safe, clean water solutions around the world without their faithful participation. Every week, there are opportunities for volunteers to work in our North Charleston, S.C. headquarters to assemble and test equipment, load emergency supplies, support administrative functions, plan and execute special events, and assist staff with everything from process and procedures to giving tours and landscaping.
Sample Impact: It takes approximately 40 hours to build and test a Living Water Treatment System. Eight to ten systems can be built in one week, enough to supply safe water to approximately 30,000 people in the event of a disaster!
Volunteers who cannot physically assist in our Charleston, South Carolina headquarters can also help us by hosting a regional Walk in a Bucket activity, engaging their church and educating their communities about the global water crisis.
