Shauri Lazaro

Shauri was born and raised in a Christian family in Rungwe district, Mbeya. In 2015, he joined Water Mission as a Finance Manager overseeing the Finance and Procurement department. Prior to his tenure at Water Mission, Shauri worked with Plan International Tanzania. After seven years of serving as a Finance Manager, he assumed the role of Water Mission Regional Finance Director, Africa. Currently, Shauri holds dual responsibilities as the Regional Finance Director, Africa and as the Interim Country Director for Water Mission in Tanzania. He oversees Water Mission’s financial services in Africa and country program operations in Tanzania, ensuring the team is supported and dedicated to implementing safe and Living Water projects with love, excellence, and integrity.

Shauri earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration. In his personal life, Shauri is married and blessed with two children.
