David Gerlach
Vice President, International Operations
David Gerlach is the VP of International Operations. He has worked with Water Mission since June 2017, previously serving as a Country Director responsible for oversight of Water Mission’s Tanzania Country Program. Prior to that he was a Project Engineer and Project Manager responsible for facilitating and coordinating all aspects of projects. This included budgets, schedules, technical documents, community development, and follow-up activities. He has also gone on field assignments in Tanzania and Liberia.
Prior to his employment at Water Mission, David worked as a Project Manager for HRV Inc. for three years and received his BS in Civil Engineering from Geneva College. His MSc in Integrated Water Resource Management at the University of Queensland included a field-research thesis in Mozambique focused on the opportunities and challenges of government-NGO partnerships.
