Carl Ehmann, MD, FACP, has served on Water Mission’s Board of Directors since 2003. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Ehmann is a former chairman of MUSC’s Foundation for Research Board of Directors. During his career, he was the research and development leader of several large multi-national companies, including Bristol-Myers, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company, Reynolds Technology Inc., and Reckitt & Coleman. Dr. Ehmann began his industrial research career at Hoffmann-LaRoche Pharmaceutical Company. He has also held academic appointments at the University of Pennsylvania, Wake Forest University, New York University, and the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Ehmann attends Grace Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida.
