Supporting Recovery in Texas

Historic Arctic Storms in Texas

Last month, historic arctic storms swept through Texas. These storms resulted in water and food shortages, widespread power outages, and dangerous weather conditions.

Freezing temperatures caused pipes to burst, leaving more than 14 million residents – half the state’s population – without access to clean, safe water.

Water Mission and Partners Mobilize Response

Water Mission is responding to this ongoing crisis in Texas by mobilizing skilled plumbers and providing urgently needed materials.

Our focus is on restoring safe water access for the most vulnerable, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and families without insurance.  We are working closely with Austin Disaster Relief Network to identify where the need is greatest.

You Can Help!

As our team also coordinates with Plumbers Without Borders and corporate partners, we ask that you join us in supporting this urgent response.

At home or abroad, safe water is a necessity in any crisis.  Please pray for our neighbors in Texas and consider supporting our response.
