
Chris Holdorf, DSL
Executive Director, Global Water Center
As executive director, Dr. Holdorf is responsible for providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and functional management for the development and operations of the Global Water Center, which is co-located at Water Mission’s corporate headquarters in North Charleston, SC. He also serves as a member of Water Mission’s executive leadership team.
Dr. Holdorf’s background includes ministry and corporate leadership experience. He held senior executive roles at Arthur Andersen & Co., Contel Corporation, GTE, and Southern Electric International. Prior to assuming the executive director role of the Global Water Center, Mr. Holdorf served as the chief executive officer of the National Christian Foundation. Until 2016, he served as a lead pastor at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia, and at First Redeemer Church in Cumming, Georgia, helping the latter to grow from 90 people at its inception in 1996 to over 4,200 members.
He holds a doctorate in strategic leadership from Regent University, an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Emmanuel Theological Seminary in Kota, India, a master’s degree in theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and a master’s in accountancy and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Georgia.
