“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.”
Nahum 1:7
In February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, leaving millions of people internally displaced and millions more struggling to access safe water. Water Mission immediately deployed to the region to respond to the growing humanitarian crisis. Over the past year, we have partnered with local churches and civic groups to serve refugees seeking safety in bordering countries. We were among the first organizations to get safe water flowing to internally displaced people within Ukraine.
Thanks to the Lord’s provision and caring friends who support our efforts, we have served more than 100,000 Ukrainians in need.

We are thankful for your ongoing support, which allows us to provide safe water and the hope of God’s love in a time of sorrow. Please continue praying for the people of Ukraine during this ongoing conflict. Pray also for the people of Turkey following February’s deadly earthquakes and for our Disaster Assistance Response Team responding there.
Your continued partnership enables us to bring hope to our neighbors in Ukraine and Turkey during their times of greatest need. No matter how great the need, our Lord’s love is greater.
Consider coming alongside Water Mission today to ensure all people have safe water and an opportunity to experience God’s love.
Charity Navigator has awarded Water Mission its top four-star rating 15 years in a row, a distinction shared by less than 1% of the charities rated by the organization.
