Scott Linebrink and the team in Haiti
Scott Linebrink and the team in Haiti
Posted January 18th, 2019 by Scott Linebrink.

One of my favorite parts about working with Water Mission is having the opportunity to visit communities we serve around the world that are full of vibrant culture, welcoming families, and inspirational resilience. On top of that, I get to connect with incredible, generous partners, and I even have the chance to travel with them to see the safe water projects their partnerships have made possible. Earlier this month, I traveled to Haiti with a few representatives from Big League Impact — a foundation committed to restoring hope and saving lives in the U.S. and globally. The organization and several of ... Read More

April 6 is the United Nations (UN) International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. This UN holiday honors sports’ positive influence.   Former Major League Baseball pitcher, Jaime García, takes his role seriously as a spokesperson for sports, faith, and safe water. García grew up in Mexico near the border of Texas. He made his career debut in a 2008 Cardinals game and spent the next decade pitching for different teams, including the Atlanta Braves, before retiring in 2019.  During a Professional Athlete Outreach conference, former MLB player and current Water Mission Partnerships Director, Scott Linebrink, discussed the global water crisis. Four Ways to Honor Others This Christmas Season

Posted December 9th, 2021 by Water Mission.

This season, you have the power to change lives in honor of the ones you love. For as little as $10, you can send a beautiful card that shares how your gift will bring safe and Living Water to families in need.   This year’s honor card tells the story of Cipriana, a mother from Ocoto Alto, Peru. She and her family will soon experience the blessing of safe water for her community.   “Our biggest dream is that they will have safe water here at home,” she says of her family and her community. “That is the greatest dream we have.”  Access to safe water transforms the lives of people, like Cipriana. You can help provide safe and Living Water to ... Read More
